A man driving in Charlotte was involved in a single car accident on Tuesday and was killed. The 60-year-old man was the only person in the vehicle.

The victim

was driving his 1991 Chevrolet S-10 truck in the 6500 block of Rozzelles Ferry when he drove off the right side of the road; witnesses said he was going about 40 mph.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown what caused the accident and the police department is investigating whether or not the man had a medical condition that may have caused it.
