A 15-year-old high school student was killed and three of his friends injured in a car accident early Sunday morning. The car was driven by a 17-year-old and had two other teenage passengers. They were out for a late night fast food run.

Police said the wreck happened at 12:01 a.m. Sunday in the 5000 block of Colony Road, near Sharon View Road. A police report said Jeremiah lost control of the car before the wreck.

Skid marks at the crash scene suggest the Eclipse slid and hit the median. The car then went off the right side of the road and slammed into a tree.

The victim died at the scene of the accident. All of the other teenagers in the car were injured and taken to a local hospital. The are listed from critical to fair condition.
