Woman Dies in Charlotte Car Accident

A van and an SUV collided on Interstate 77 killing one woman and injuring six others. The car accident happened in Charlotte. The family in the SUV was from Thomasville. It is believed no one in the SUV was wearing a seat belt and they were all ejected from the vehicle.

A Thomasville family was traveling to South Carolina when their SUV was involved in an accident on I-77. The SUV was traveling next to a van when they hit one another, causing the van to hit the concrete barrier and the SUV to to flip over.
There were seven people in the SUV, which seats five. Four of them were adults and the other three were children.


There were two people in the van and they were not injured. The North Carolina Highway Patrol are still investigating the accident and no charges have been filed.
