Navron Teen Killed in Motorcycle Accident

An 18-year-old high school student was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lancaster on Monday. He was struck by a SUV and killed. The SUV was turning left into a gas station when he clipped the motorcycle.

The victim

was operating a motorcycle west on Route 30. As he approached a Hess Gas Station just east of Route 41, a small, eastbound sport utility vehicle started to make a left turn into the station, Trooper James A. Spencer said.

The driver of the SUV was an 81-year-old man from Strasburg Pike. The police are investigating the motorcycle accident. It is unknown what caused the accident. No charges have been filed. There were no other reported injuries in the accident.
