Pedestrian Hit by Semi-Truck in Nevada

A pedestrian was killed in Nevada after being hit by a semi-truck. The trucking accident happened on Friday evening on Highway 395. The victim was a 41-year-old woman.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, she was walking on Pine Valley Road about 5:30 p.m. when she ran toward a Schneider Trucking Freightliner.

The woman was thrown underneath the rear tires and crushed to death. It is unknown why she ran toward the semi-truck. No one in the semi-truck was hurt in the accident. The driver was from North Carolina. The police are still investigating the accident. They are hoping to talk to eyewitnesses or anyone that may have information.
